Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Department located in Bellefontaine, Ohio, is seeking a qualified registered nurse to join their team for night shifts. This role involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, developing and revising care plans, administering medications, and providing age-appropriate care to patients in the labor and delivery setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Ohio or compact license, BSN degree (preferred), at least 1 year of labor and delivery experience, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS and BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and current COVID vaccination with proof of vaccination card
• Certifications must be through AHA and active at time of start
• The candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of labor and delivery experience and be proficient in performing assessments, medication administration, and patient education within the scope of practice
• The role involves performing patient care responsibilities according to hospital policies, ensuring safety and quality, and effectively communicating with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Responsibilities include maintaining clinical competencies, operating medical equipment safely, and coordinating patient care effectively

• Must be COVID vaccinated
