Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse position is available in Jackson, Michigan. This role involves providing leadership and coordination in delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse will effectively communicate pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team, participate in resolving variances from patient goals, and ensure the implementation of solutions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/25/2026
• Required Qualifications: - Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) - Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing - Minimum of 2+ years Medical Surgical (Med Surg) registered nurse experience - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Preferred Qualifications: - Telemetry experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required to lockdown units.
• Additional Information: Candidates may be requested to float to lockdown units; awareness of this requirement should be confirmed.
