This ER RN position involves providing age-specific, direct patient care within the emergency department setting. The role includes utilizing the nursing process, adhering to departmental standards of patient care, and assuming leadership responsibilities such as delegation to other healthcare team members. The position requires compliance with all applicable state and federal healthcare laws and regulations, along with maintaining active certifications.

Job Details

• Position Description: Delivery of age-specific, direct patient care in the emergency room environment. The RN applies the nursing process within the framework of department standards of patient care and specialty-specific standards. Assumes leadership responsibilities including delegation of work to other healthcare team members.
• Certifications and Education Requirements: Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications are required prior to start date.
• Schedule: Days shift with 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 10/19/2026 through 01/18/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Active certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); 1 year of experience in emergency room nursing; valid nursing license in the state of practice.
• Additional Information: The RN will deliver patient-centered care while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. Renewal plans for certifications must be in place if not active prior to the start date.
