Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position in Memphis, Tennessee. This role involves providing direct clinical care to patients within a neuro, telemetry, and cardiac stepdown unit, adhering to established care protocols and safety standards. The position requires overseeing clinical staff, supporting high-quality patient outcomes, and ensuring clinical competency.

Job Details

  • Location: Memphis, Tennessee
  • Shift Time: Nights, 6:45 a.m. to 7:17 p.m.
  • Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; no minimum experience required; educational requirements as specified; candidates must be willing to work night shifts and be located within or willing to work in Memphis, Tennessee.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuro, telemetry, or cardiac care; certifications related to critical or cardiac care are advantageous.
  • Additional Information: The IMCU / PCU / Stepdown Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the facility Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care. The house supervisor must be contacted for any nurse cancellations.
