Description

Job Summary:
The Progress Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role involves providing high-quality patient care through comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The RN supervises licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and orientees, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care in the unit.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift, valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY), critical care experience, and two or more years of bedside clinical experience preferred, along with appropriate educational background and licensure in nursing
  • Preferred Qualifications: Critical care experience is highly desired
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: The RN performs nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, participates actively in patient education and discharge planning, documents all patient interactions accurately, and contributes to a safe and positive work environment through effective communication and team collaboration. The role includes assuming charge responsibilities after orientation and engaging in ongoing professional development.
