Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Progressive Care Units (PCU), located in Gilbert, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients within the specialized PCU setting, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through clinical expertise and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in Arizona or a compact RN licensure for the state of practice. BLS certification is required. Previous clinical experience in an acute care setting or specialty area is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Professional certification related to nursing or the specialty area is advantageous.
- Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for delivering direct patient care within the PCU, assessing and documenting patient conditions, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. They will participate in care planning, patient education, and discharge planning activities. The role requires effective communication skills and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
