Description

Job Summary
Endoscopy Laboratory Nurse in Burlington, Vermont. This position involves providing high-quality patient care during endoscopic procedures, with a focus on patient assessment, sedation monitoring, and post-procedure recovery. The role requires experience in a large, teaching facility and proficiency with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum of 2 years of experience; prior experience in a large, teaching facility; experience starting intravenous lines, assessing history and physical information, and managing post-procedure recovery for patients receiving conscious sedation; recent EPIC electronic medical records experience (within past 2 years).
  • Preferred Qualifications: American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Additional Information:
    • Travel is not required for this position.
    • Float rotation is not required.
    • Scheduling is Monday to Sunday, with bi-weekly orientations on Monday.
    • No block schedules are permitted.
    • Complete work history information, including bed count, electronic medical record system, and facility type, is required for submission.
    • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
    • Covid and Flu vaccine declinations are accepted; proof or declination documentation should be included in the packet.
    • Reliable transportation, personal vehicle, or rental vehicle is strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in this area.
