Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse positioned in Burlington, Vermont. This role involves providing specialized care in a level III NICU setting, with a focus on newborns, mother/baby, nursery, attending deliveries, and pediatrics with neonates. The position offers rotational day and night shifts over a 17-week assignment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating day/night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); STABLE and RNC-NIC certifications preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of NICU level III experience; teaching facility experience required.
- EMR: EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required.
- Education: No additional educational requirements specified.
- Location: Must be able to work in Burlington, Vermont.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior travel experience preferred.
- Experience in large (500+ bed count) NICU teaching facilities if travel experience is not held.
- Additional Information:
- IVS to offer.
- Work schedule: Monday to Sunday, no block schedules.
- Bi-weekly orientations scheduled on Mondays.
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
- Complete work history details including bed count, EMR, and facility type are required for submission.
- Reliable transportation is necessary, personal or rental vehicle with all-season or snow tires recommended during November through April.
