Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is located in Auburn, Indiana. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients in a hospital setting, handling a variety of complex clinical procedures and patient conditions. The position requires working night shifts to support patient needs during peak hours of care.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Indiana nursing license; at least 2 years of ICU or Progressive Care experience; BLS through AHA; ACLS; PALS; NIH Stroke Scale certification; minimum 2 years of experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Indiana RN license, 2+ years ICU/Progressive Care experience required, must float to medical-surgical units when needed, BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and relevant licensure required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with vents, overdose/suicide patients, ART lines, computerized charting systems such as EPIC, and ICU-specific equipment.
• Additional Information: ICU orientation is an 8-hour shift; floating to other units/departments may be required; nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3; dress code is Caribbean Blue. The unit utilizes EPIC for charting; no BSN is required; emergency procedures and operations are in place to ensure patient safety.
