Job Summary:
Operating Room Pediatrics (OR PEDS) located in Saint Louis, Missouri. This position involves providing specialized surgical care for pediatric patients within a childrens acute care hospital setting. The clinician will participate in a 12-hour day shift, supporting various surgical specialties with flexibility for float within scope as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/08/2026.
• Required Qualifications: No minimum experience required; valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in pediatric operating rooms and with trauma Level II patients is preferred.
• Float: Float within scope to meet facility needs; may float to all pediatric surgical units and occasionally to ICU as RN Assist.
• Open to accommodating block schedule: No
• Location: Saint Louis, Missouri 75 miles radius rule applies; local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted except for Patient Care Technicians, Certified Nurse Assistants, and Medical Assistants.
• Licensing: MO license required; license in hand required at time of submittal or must match permanent residence if using a compact license.
• Additional Information: This role involves assisting in various surgical procedures for pediatric patients, including neuro, ortho, plastics, eyes, GU/GI, ENT, general, small amount of GYN, spine, and some dental cases. No cardiac/vascular/thoracic cases for this position. The facility is a Children's Acute Care Hospital with a total of 16 staffed beds and 455 beds in the facility.
