Description

Job Summary:
Endoscopy Laboratory registered nurse (RN) position located in Hartford, Connecticut. This role involves working four ten-hour daytime shifts, with no call or late assignments. The nurse will provide care in a high-level trauma hospital, primarily in the ambulatory care unit for gastrointestinal (GI) patients and sometimes in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience with gastrointestinal or PACU nursing, preferably with fast-paced ambulatory, preoperative, or intravenous (IV) experience, and may have endoscopy experience.

Job Details:

  • Location: Hartford, CT
  • Shift Schedule: Four days per week, ten hours each day, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with no call or late shifts required
  • Required Qualifications: Certification(s) in nursing, valid Connecticut state license, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in GI or PACU nursing, with preference given to candidates with fast-paced ambulatory, preoperative, IV, or endoscopy experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience handling sicker patients including step-down or above, familiarity with PACU procedures, and GI procedural experience
  • Schedule: Day shifts, 40 hours per week
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: This is a rotating shift position based on case load, with details to be provided during the interview with the recruiting manager.
