Description
Job Summary:
The labor and delivery specialty position is located within a womens hospital in Arlington, Texas. This role involves providing high-risk obstetric care in a busy unit with a focus on high-volume and high-risk patient management. The successful candidate will be integral to a team that handles complex OB cases, including those requiring advanced fetal monitoring and maternal support.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 12 hours shift times, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications, all included in the submission packet. Previous travel experience of at least one year in high-risk obstetrics/Labor and Delivery, with skills in intermediate fetal monitoring, high-risk OB care, and high-volume patient handling.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in obstetric emergency department, high-risk OB procedures, and high-volume patient care are preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required within the womens health units.
- Additional Information: The unit features modern equipment and technology, with a highly experienced staff dedicated to providing comprehensive OB services. The unit is known for its competitive environment and offers an engaging opportunity for skilled OB nurses to further develop their expertise in a supportive team setting.
