Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) registered nurse position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves providing specialized care for patients with cardiovascular conditions in a cardiac intensive care setting. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with advanced cardiac devices and supporting complex medical treatments within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, experience caring for cardiac medical and cardiothoracic/vascular surgery intensive care unit patients, proficiency with Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), and left ventricular assist device (LVAD).
• Preferred Qualifications: NxStage experience.
• Additional Information: The unit cares for both cardiac medical ICU patients and cardiac/thoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Responsibilities include managing patients with various cardiac devices and providing specialized critical care.
