Job Summary:
The healthcare professional is an Operating Room Technician (ORT) based in Windsor, Vermont. This position requires high proficiency in cataract surgeries and involves working within various surgical specialties, including general surgery, urology, podiatry, and ophthalmology. The role demands the ability to work independently, scrub effectively in multiple service lines, and participate in call coverage duties.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: 8-hour shifts, five days per week, with a requirement to work weekends once per month. Holiday coverage may be needed.
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential current within the past year, a minimum of 3 years of current CST experience, NBSTSA certification (NCCT not accepted), travel experience, own transportation, active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and current experience in cataract surgery with proficiency in loading lenses and oculoplastics.
• Preferred Qualifications: DaVinci Robot experience is preferred.
• Additional Information: The candidate must provide a permanent address included in their profile, and all scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission, as requests after the offer may be rescinded. Any requested time off must be noted in the profile. This role requires the ability to load lenses during ophthalmology procedures and work in various settings with minimal supervision. The assignment begins on 09/14/2026.
