Job Summary:
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Saint Johnsbury, Vermont. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a 25-bed critical access hospital's ICU, reflecting AACN (American Association of Critical-Care Nurses) standards. The RN will coordinate patient care for diverse populations, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, with a focus on telemetry reading and critical care procedures. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work in Vermont's scenic Northeast Kingdom, renowned for outdoor recreational activities and natural beauty.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Travelers will start on Wednesdays. During the week of orientation, travelers on a 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start.
• Required Qualifications: Critical care experience and at least two years RN experience. Ability to read telemetry. Valid nursing license and necessary credentials uploaded three business days prior to start date.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient care, with proficiency in ICU procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position requires a commitment to delivering professional, patient-specific care in a critical access hospital setting. The hospital provides primary, preventive, surgical, specialty, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services, operated by a team of board-certified physicians.
