Description

Job Summary:
Paramedic position in Farmington, New Mexico, providing emergency medical services within an ambulance unit. This role involves ride-along responsibilities, delivering pre-hospital care to diverse patient populations, including trauma and emergency cases. The hospital serves the Four Corners region and features a level III trauma center with state-of-the-art facilities.

Job Details:

  • Location: Farmington, New Mexico
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with a rotating shift pattern of 24 hours on, 24 hours off, and 4 days off, utilizing a modified Kelly schedule.
  • Required Qualifications: NM Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, PALS (Must be from American Heart Association), New Mexico Licensure, 2 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in 911 operations.
  • Additional Information: Candidates will be working in ambulances riding along units; they will not be driving, but will be responsible for patient care during transport. The ambulance is equipped with Ford F550 Type 1, Zoll X series, Stryker auto load, and Saphire IV Pump. The electronic health record system used is ImageTrend. The role requires certification as listed above, and there is one open position.
