The Labor and Delivery (L&D) specialty is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing care for obstetrical patients, including high-risk pregnancies, emergencies, and delivery procedures. The position requires working the night shift with the flexibility of self-scheduling and involves collaboration with a highly engaged, team-oriented staff.

• Shift: 12 hours (7:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m.)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Call Requirements: No
• Weekends: Four weekend shifts per scheduling period are required
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, current CST (Certified Surgical Tech) certification, and at least two years' experience in High Risk Obstetrics. They must hold certifications in Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN), and experience with high-risk obstetrics including placenta accreta spectrum disorders and massive transfusion procedures is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PASD (Placenta Accreta Spectrum Disorders), high-risk OB procedures, and Twin deliveries with both C-section and SVD.
• Typical Procedures: C-sections, spontaneous vaginal deliveries (SVD), D&C, D&E, twin deliveries, scheduled and emergent C-hysterectomy, massive transfusions.
• Personality Fit: Highly engaged, motivated, positive outlook, team-oriented, and adaptable.
• Schedule Details: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
