Job Summary:
This Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse position is based in North Sioux City, South Dakota. The role involves assessing, planning, and providing direct clinical care to patients on a traditional evening shift. The nurse will also oversee staff responsibilities, support the facilitys chief nursing officer to ensure high-quality and safe patient care, and manage clinical resources effectively.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license, BLS certification, current clinical experience in medical surgical nursing, location in or willing to work in North Sioux City, South Dakota; no minimum years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC are a plus
• Additional Information: The Med Surg Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the facility chief nursing officer to ensure high-quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
