Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Surgical (ICU SURGICAL) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a facility located in Damariscotta, Maine. This role involves providing specialized care to patients in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit that is not an Intensive Care Unit with vented patients, with minimal use of drips and ventilators. An experienced telehealth nurse with relevant skills in vasoactive drips and ventilators is preferred.

Job Details

• Position Description: Providing nursing care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit setting with a focus on non-vented patients, using specialized equipment such as ventilators, chest tubes, and feeding tubes.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, experience with vasoactive drips, ventilators, and ICU/SCU settings, associated certifications, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related specialty.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours minimum per week.
• Additional Information: Occasional float to Medical/Surgical Emergency or other units as needed. The role requires a team-oriented, proactive individual with high standards and a down-to-earth personality.
