Description
Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized patient care to a cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, substance abuse, and psychiatric patient population within a 38-bed facility. The nurse will work on a 12-hour day shift, with flexibility for every other weekend coverage, supporting a patient ratio of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on weekends. The position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week starting from 08/17/2026.
Job Details:
- Shift: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 1 year of experience in telemetry Medical-Surgical (MS) units, IV skills, working knowledge of cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, substance abuse, and psychiatric patient care
- Additional Information: Candidates with previous employment in any capacity within any Johns Hopkins health system facilities must have been off from those facilities for at least one full year before applying as a traveler. Previous employment must be noted in the work history for verification.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
