The operating room (First Assistant) position is located in Winchester, Virginia. This role involves providing surgical assistance in the main operating room within a facility that specializes in multiple surgical specialties. Job Details:

• Position Title: Certified Surgical Technologist First Assistant
• Location: Winchester, VA
• Department: Surgical Services
• Shift Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Number of Openings: 1
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• Required Certifications: BLS (AHA only), NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist First Assistant, VA State License or license status, Privileging/credentials required prior to onboarding
• Qualifications: Must have at least 2+ years of experience as a CSTFA, with preferred expertise in orthopedics, neuro, plastics, general surgery, DaVinci Robot, and urology procedures
• Schedule Details: 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours/week
• Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to be on-call for 6-8 calls per month and may be asked to work on holidays. The unit averages 17 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. The dress code requires scrubs in blue.
