Description

Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) professional position is located in Morgantown, West Virginia. This role involves working in a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center that handles a wide variety of surgical cases across multiple service lines. The position is scheduled for day shifts with a focus on assisting with outpatient cases, supporting a fast-paced surgical environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days, 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room settings; valid license to submit; willingness to wait for license processing; experience circulating independently and taking call as required; scrub experience preferred but not mandatory
Preferred Qualifications: Strong ambulatory surgical experience, familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system, experience working in trauma centers or high-acuity environments, proficiency with OR equipment such as Bovie machines, Ligasure, and Xi Robotics
Additional Information: Orientation to both surgical units (totaling 2-3 shifts) including Epic EMR orientation; scrubs provided; floating only between designated units based on experience; holiday call and weekend work may be required, with scheduled shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. depending on shift; standby call expected approximately 20-30 hours in a 4-week period; all submittals must include an unexpired copy of the candidates drivers license; position start date is 08/31/2026.
