Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse Portland, OR. This position involves providing specialized post-operative care within a short-term acute care facility. The role requires adaptability to float between units and perform clinical duties in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient recovery and safety.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), 1+ year of experience in inpatient or PACU settings, proficiency with charting systems such as EPIC, and ability to float to multiple units.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a community hospital setting, trauma level experience (Level I or II), and prior travel or float experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other units per organizational needs, ensuring staffing coverage across various departments.
• Additional Information: Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Candidates should be prepared to work in a shared position between recovery and short stay/pre-operative/post-operative areas. Shifts may include on-call nights once per week and one weekend per four-week schedule, with some shifts in recovery and others in short stay. Notice will be provided when floating to other facilities, and incentives apply for specific floating locations.
