Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position located in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within the operating room setting, supporting a diverse patient population. The assignment requires prior travel experience in similar OR environments and offers a dynamic, team-oriented work atmosphere within a teaching hospital.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in the relevant specialty, BLS certification, active VA or Compact License at the time of submission, Cerner experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 09/08/2026 and 09/21/2026, with orientation held every other Monday. Prior travel experience in OR settings is mandatory for all Central positions. The role includes up to three call shifts per week, including weekend call rotation, with no more than three calls per week and three weekends per six-week schedule. Scrub and circulate experience is required; RN candidates must have vascular, neuro, and da Vinci robotics experience. All RTO requests must be included in the initial submission packet. The client may cancel up to 36 hours prior to the assignment due to census fluctuations.
