Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse specialized in surgical procedures at a healthcare provider facility. This role involves supporting surgical teams during various operative procedures, with an emphasis on vascular, neuro, and da Vinci robotic surgeries. The position requires active participation in patient care before, during, and after surgeries, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours, minimum 40 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/16/2027
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in the relevant specialty, BLS certification, active VA or Compact license, Cerner application experience preferred, all required time-off requests (RTO) must be included at submission
• Preferred Qualifications: Scrub and circulate experience, vascular, neuro, and da Vinci robotics experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Prior travel experience is required for all Centra positions. The traveler will work four shifts per week, with up to three call shifts, including weekend call rotation. No more than three call shifts per week Monday through Friday, and no more than three weekends within a six-week call schedule. Residents are not accepted. The healthcare provider operates as a teaching hospital and promotes a culture of support, including interaction with students and new hires.
