Description
Job Summary:
Theorist Surgical Technologist specializing in the Operating Room located in Reno, Nevada. This position involves supporting surgical teams by preparing supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for various surgical procedures. The role requires hands-on assistance in case preparation, patient positioning, and room turnover to ensure smooth and efficient surgical operations.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts, with exact days to be determined upon arrival based on unit needs.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, start at 06:30 and end at 17:00, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), completion of a surgical technologist program, at least 2 years of experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) surgical technologist first and second scrub, and travel experience.
- Additional information: Must live within 100 miles of the work location. Call requirements include 11-12 shifts per month, including weekends. The role involves assisting with all aspects of surgical procedures, maintaining confidentiality, ensuring patient privacy and modesty, and performing instrument and supply counts in accordance with departmental standards.
