Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) 12-hour days, every weekend Shawano, WI. This position involves providing high-quality adult patient care in a busy critical access unit, primarily managing detox, stroke rule-outs, and respiratory cases. The role requires experienced RNs with a minimum of two years of Medical Surgical (MS) and Critical Access experience, emphasizing titratable drips and EPIC charting proficiency. The assignment begins on August 31, 2026, and runs through November 30, 2026, with a guaranteed schedule of 36 hours per week and weekend shifts every Friday through Sunday.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts during the day, every weekend (Friday Sunday).
• Required Qualifications: WI RN or Compact License, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), minimum of 2+ years of Medical Surgical (MS) experience and Critical Access nursing experience. Previous travel experience strongly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC charting experience within the last year.
• Float: Float rotation may be required throughout the facility within skillset and to all ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius.
• Responsibilities: Providing adult patient care in a 20-bed critical access unit with a high patient acuity. Managing titratable drips and documenting with EPIC charting.
• Certifications: Valid WI RN or Compact License, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS.
• Shift: 12-hour days, every weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours guaranteed per week.
• Start Date: 08/31/2026
• End Date: 11/30/2026
• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant MS and Critical Access experience required; previous travel experience preferred.
• Additional Information: No new travelers; at least one completed contract is required. No travelers coming from a facility or their home location within 50 miles of the Neenah, WI campus.
