Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical with Telemetry nurse is based in Longview, Texas, and will provide compassionate, competent patient care in a general medical-surgical unit with telemetry monitoring. The role involves practicing independently and demonstrating awareness of all relevant clinical aspects while delivering both routine and complex nursing care. This position supports the development of long-term caregiving plans and ensures effective management of clinical situations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing; two years of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred; RN license in the state of Texas or a comprehensive reciprocity agreement; BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only); NIH certification required.
• Additional Information: The nurse will care for a diverse patient population including general medical-surgical cases, neurological, respiratory, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and patients receiving multiple drips and bypass procedures. EPIC experience is highly preferred and recommended. The role involves assessing patient needs, administering medications and treatments, and providing education to patients, families, and caregivers.
