Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in a healthcare facility setting. This full-time role involves providing routine and complex nursing care to a diverse patient population with various diagnoses and acuity levels, including respiratory issues, sepsis, and multiple co-morbidities. The position requires independent practice, adherence to nursing standards, and effective patient and family education.

Job Details

• Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, full-time, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; RN license in the state of Texas or a compact license; minimum of 2 years of experience in a related nursing specialty
• Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness, documenting care and patient history, and providing education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Additional Information: All newly hired experienced Registered Nurses must attend a New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. Orientation includes precepted bedside training, competency validation, and annual renewal requirements. New Licensed Registered Nurses may participate in residency or specific orientation programs with competency documentation.
• Experience: 2 years of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
