Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse in Longview, TX. This full-time position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a busy healthcare environment, with a focus on patients presenting with respiratory issues, sepsis, and multiple co-morbidities. The Nurse will demonstrate independence and clinical competence while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred; two years of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (American Heart Association); current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required (American Heart Association); RN License in the state of Texas or a compact license
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing preferred
• Additional Information: All newly hired experienced Registered Nurses must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. Orientation includes preceptorship with a trained staff member, competency validation, and annual competency verification. Nurses must complete all clinical and operational requirements to maintain eligibility for the role.
