Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Nursing Professional for a Medical Surgical Rehabilitation floor in Texas City, Texas. This role involves providing inpatient care in a unit with 17 beds, primarily focusing on rehabilitation patients. The position requires excellent teamwork, time management skills, and a positive attitude to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, general nursing skills, with preferred experience in rehab and Meditech electronic medical record system; location from Texas City, TX, with 0 years minimum experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Rehab experience, Meditech experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The unit operates with a patient ratio of 6:1 and utilizes lifting equipment. Staff includes a charge nurse, registered nurses (RN), and patient care technicians (PCT). The team works on alternating weekends and adheres to unit policies, guidelines, and ICARE values.
