Description
Job Summary:
The specialty of Labor and Delivery is seeking qualified candidates for a position located in Utica, New York. This role involves providing comprehensive care to obstetric, gynecologic, and neonatal patients within a busy maternity department. The position requires flexibility to work a variable rotational schedule, including days and nights, catering to the department's needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift with 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 4-5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and Epic/Stork experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Obstetrics (ante-partum, intra-partum, and post-partum), gynecology, and neonatal care.
- Float: Floating to medical-surgical units, possibly pediatrics or adult floors, as needed to support staffing and patient care.
- Additional Information: The department has 18 beds, including triage, antepartum, operating rooms for cesarean sections, recovery beds, and labor and delivery beds. The RN ratio is 1:1 to 2.
