Description
Job Summary:
A position in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is available in a healthcare facility located in Santa Rosa, California. This is a high-demand role suitable for professionals with a minimum of one year of experience. The assignment offers a supportive environment for those ready to contribute to outpatient surgeries, general, orthopedic, and urology patient care, primarily working day shifts starting at 8:30 a.m. The opportunity provides an excellent chance to support swift patient recovery in a busy outpatient setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 09/08/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California state license; minimum of one year of experience; certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system; outpatient surgical procedures; ability to float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
- Float: Float rotation to Main Post Anesthesia Care Unit if needed.
- Additional Information: The facility operates Monday through Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or call expected. The role involves working in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment managing a daily census of approximately 10 patients across four rooms. Candidates must be willing to work during major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) and have references covering at least one year during the last three years. A copy of certifications and SSN, DOB, and RTO details are required at submission.
