Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse is needed for a position in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves working on a general medicine unit with a rotating day/night schedule and a minimum of 36 hours per week. Candidates must possess at least one year of travel experience and level 1/Advanced Medical Certification (AMC) experience to excel in this dynamic environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating day/night shifts; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 1+ years of travel experience, 1+ years of Level 1/AMC experience, working on a Medical Surgical Floor, and experience with general medicine units
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in high-acuity environments, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Additional Information: The role requires providing compassionate patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting, adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards, and contributing positively to the healthcare team's efforts.
