Description
Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position is available at a healthcare organization located in Bronx, NY. This role involves providing per diem care on a day shift basis, with a flexible schedule of 1 to 6 shifts per month. The position requires current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in a similar setting.

- Shift Hours: 7.5 hours
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, ACLS certification, BLS certification, minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery or related department, experience in an acute care setting
- Schedule: Days shift, 7.5 hours per day, minimum 37.5 hours per week
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Allscripts charting system, knowledge of trauma level care setting
- Additional Information: Per diem basis; unit notes state 1-6 shifts per month; cancellation policy allows the organization to cancel up to 1 shift per 4-week assignment, 2 shifts per 8-week assignment, or 3 shifts per 13-week assignment with no penalty
