Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) at a healthcare organization in Wenatchee, Washington. The position involves providing high-quality patient care on a Medical Surgical floor with a focus on safety, compassionate service, and adherence to clinical standards. This is an opportunity to work evening/night shifts in a dynamic hospital environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Required to have a Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; must maintain active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; adherence to organizational policies and unit standards; must function within the Washington Nurse Practice Act and stay current with legal aspects of nursing; float as a sitter may be required. May float between Mares and Central Campuses; float in rotation; float between Mares Rehabilitation and Medical Surgical units.
- Position-related responsibilities include coordinating and providing compassionate patient care, developing and reassessing individualized care plans, administering medications and procedures, evaluating discharge plans, documenting assessments and interventions, conducting holistic patient evaluations, addressing physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs, educating patients and their families, maintaining current knowledge of workflows and evidence-based procedures, delegating care appropriately, participating in performance improvement, and collaborating with healthcare team members.
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Location: 820 North Chelan Avenue, Wenatchee, WA 98801
- Experience: 1 year of experience preferred; minimum of current clinical practice and familiarity with Medical Surgical patient care.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- No float rotation required.
- Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS required.
- Additional Information: The position requires adherence to hospital and unit policies, includes float responsibilities, and emphasizes teamwork and safety.
