Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart Nurse in Bronx, New York. This role involves circulating and scrub responsibilities for cardiac surgical procedures, including Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) with saphenous vein grafts (EVH), chest closures, thoracoscopy, wedge resection, and valve surgeries such as aortic and mitral valve procedures. The ideal candidate will have advanced surgical skills specific to cardiac operations and licensure in New York State.
Job Details:
- Location: Bronx, NY 10467
- Shift: Days shift with 11.5 hours per day
- Schedule: 34.5 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/23/2026
- Required Qualifications: NYS license; BLS certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room nursing with specific cardiac surgical experience; circulating and scrub experience in cardiac surgeries; experience with procedures including CABG EVH, chest closure, thoracoscopy, wedge resection, aortic valves, and mitral valves
