Description
Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Anderson, South Carolina. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care within a specialized unit, supervising ancillary staff, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. This role emphasizes patient and staff safety, timely assessments, and effective discharge planning.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification prior to first shift, ACLS certification prior to first shift (CIRH only), minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience, completed a minimum of 1 assignment with current agency, experience in Progressive Care Units
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The RN performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, develops individualized care plans, manages patient education and discharge planning, secures clear communication among care team members, and provides supervision to ancillary staff. The role requires active participation in team-building activities, maintaining communication with management concerning supplies and equipment, and pursuing ongoing professional development.
