Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Overland Park, KS. This position involves providing critical care in a busy Level 2 trauma center emergency department. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care while adhering to hospital standards and protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license; Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); either Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); no minimum years of experience required; location: Overland Park, KS; 0 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) preferred
• Additional Information:
  • Experience in emergency or trauma nursing with at least two years in a Level 2 trauma center
  • Knowledge of trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis, and triage procedures
  • Procedures performed on unit are associated with Level 2 trauma center standards
  • Hospital-specific certifications include ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, with CPI preferred
  • Use of AIDET communication technique and whiteboards; positive attitude and a "can do" culture are valued
