Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in a healthcare facility located in California. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the emergency department, supervising and directing nursing staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires critical thinking, professional discretion, and the ability to manage a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience in an acute care facility preferred. Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor required. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in an Emergency Room setting.
- Additional Information: This is a contract position scheduled to begin on 09/14/2026 and end on 12/13/2026. Candidates must have EPIC experience to qualify for this role.
