Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse (RN) at a healthcare facility in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation across all age groups. The position requires collaboration with ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evenings, 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS and ACLS certifications, a minimum of 3+ years of experience working in operating room settings, ability to work in a rapid-paced environment, proficient navigation of multiple computer systems, and experience in robotic, laparoscopic, microsurgery, and neurosurgery procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with surgical patients, teamwork skills, ability to work independently in the OR setting.
- Additional Information: The role involves direct patient care activities for diverse age groups within the surgical/operating room unit. The selected candidate will perform assessments, coordinate patient care, and support the surgical team in procedures. The facility provides scrubs (black) and maintains dress code standards.
