Job Summary:
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nursing position is located in Daytona Beach, Florida. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients requiring a higher level of care than standard medical-surgical nursing. The RN will ensure quality patient outcomes by implementing individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting patient safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification; ACLS certification (if applicable); minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience; relevant certifications, education, and experience as listed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting preferred.
• Additional Information: Performs a nursing assessment within 8 hours of admission to develop an individualized care plan. Participates in patient rehabilitation programs and initiates discharge planning from the day of admission. Responsible for accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses in accordance with policy. Provides supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, delegates appropriately, and communicates effectively to ensure continuity of care. Assumes charge nurse responsibilities following orientation as needed and actively pursues professional development. Maintains communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and clinical training needs.
