Job Summary:
The intensive care unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position is located in San Jose, California. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to critically ill patients. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional to deliver high-quality patient support within a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: - One year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last three years. - Graduate of an accredited nursing program. - Valid Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field. - Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) or Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) certification is preferred.
- Additional Information: This role entails providing critical care nursing responsibilities tailored for adult and pediatric ICU patients. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations and adhere to standards set forth for critical care.
