Description
Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) professional position is located in a medical facility in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves providing critical care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a Level II Trauma Center. The position requires working night shifts and involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in ICU, valid California license, ACLS, BLS certifications, and NIHSS certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, trauma level II experience, and prior ICU experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to sister facilities approximately 16-20 miles away.
- Additional Information: Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). All scheduling requests and RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included at time of submission; post-approval requests may not be considered. Candidates should be prepared to provide references covering the last 1 year, and must include responses to specific submission questions.
