Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) and located in Mayfield, Kentucky. This position involves providing compassionate, high-quality care across all age groups within the medical surgical unit. The role requires adherence to hospital standards and a focus on patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Crisis Prevention Institute/Behavioral Health Certification (CPI/HWC/MAB). Kentucky licensure as a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of 0 years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a medical surgical environment, with a compassionate and caring personality.
• Unit Information:
  • Department: Medical Surgical - 3rd & 4th floors
  • Number of Beds: 57
  • Patient Ratios: Up to 1:6 with Patient Care Assistants (PCA) assistance
  • Serves all ages, from geriatric to pediatric
• Additional Information:
  • Must have the skill set to handle common diagnoses such as COPD, post-operative joints, and diabetic populations
  • Unit requires minimum attire of scrubs in any color, avoiding branded attire from other facilities
  • Float: Float rotation may be required, with the possibility to float to like units
