Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse practitioner is needed in McKinney, Texas. This position involves providing urgent care services in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The role requires a highly energetic and self-motivated healthcare professional capable of managing a diverse patient caseload while adhering to hospital protocols and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift hours, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC; must have Meditech experience; minimum of 0 years of experience; location in Texas or willing to travel to McKinney, TX 75069
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with high-energy personalities, previous ED experience, and strong patient care skills will be considered first
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The unit is a 37-bed level 2 trauma emergency department with approximately 73 full-time staff members, including charge nurses, registered nurses, and emergency medical technicians or paramedics. Patient ratios are approximately 1:4 in designated zones. The department utilizes GE monitors and MediTech electronic medical records. The environment emphasizes teamwork, high-energy performance, and maintaining a friendly attitude. The position includes four weekend shifts within a four-week period with no on-call requirements. No time-off requests are permitted from mid-June to July.
