Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery registered nurse position is located in Lancaster, Ohio. This role involves assessing, planning, and providing direct patient care to women in labor and delivery, ensuring safety and quality throughout the childbirth process. The nurse will perform duties in accordance with facility policies and guidelines, supporting positive patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associate degree in nursing; Bachelors degree in nursing preferred; Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio; CPR certification; 1 or more years of registered nursing experience; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Critical thinking skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring.
• Additional Information: The role involves direct supervision and delegation of tasks, assisting with patient management during labor and delivery, and maintaining accurate documentation. The position requires physical ability to handle patient care activities and emotional resilience to manage urgent situations calmly.
