Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position in Brookhaven, Georgia. This role involves providing specialized care in a Level IV/surgical NICU environment, supporting critically ill newborns. The position requires a compassionate and experienced HCP capable of managing complex neonatal cases in a fast-paced setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 2 years NICU experience, PALS certification required, NRP certification preferred, willingness to float to other departments at the facility and cross campus to the surrounding Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- Preferred Qualifications: Level IV/surgical NICU experience, familiarity with diagnoses such as congenital diaphragmatic hernia, meconium aspiration syndrome, necrotizing enterocolitis, tracheoesophageal fistula or atresia, abdominal wall defects, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, pulmonary hypertension, perioperative and postoperative neonatal care.
- Additional Information: This facility is drug-free and requires testing for nicotine. Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exceptions or declinations.
