Description

Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) position specializing in Medical Surgical Orthopedic care is available in Gallatin, Tennessee. This role involves providing quality patient care on a 23-bed unit that serves geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients (13 and older). The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services within a Level III Trauma Center setting, adhering to established standards and protocols.

Job Details:

Shift: Night shifts, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Active Tennessee RN licensure, Healthcare Provider Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and a minimum of 1+ years of clinical experience in a relevant setting.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong assessment skills, highly motivated, team-oriented, with excellent customer service.
Unit Information:
- Department: Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor
- Number of Beds: 23
- Patient Ratios: 4-6:1
- Electronic Health Record: Meditech
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information:
- Orientation is weekly, on Mondays.
- Candidates must be at least 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment.
- Must be willing to work around the units specific diagnoses and treatments, including post-operative joints, bariatric surgeries, trauma patients, and general postoperative care.
- Dressed in scrubs; acceptable attire includes hospital logo T-shirts; acrylic nails are not permitted.
