The organization is seeking a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a facility in Santa Rosa, California. Job Details

• Location: Santa Rosa, California
• Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Neonatal intensive care for neonates 29-34 weeks and more, including high-risk deliveries and critical neonatal conditions
• Shift Details: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, from 0700 to 1930, with every other weekend; voluntary callOptional
• Schedule: Days, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California RN licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); 5 years of experience with Level III or Level IV NICU; demonstrated experience with blood and blood product administration, neonatal resuscitation, and advanced neonatal procedures; experience with Epic charting system; at least 2 years of NICU experience preferred
• Skills: Administration of blood and blood products, Anti-Seizure Medications, Antibiotics, APGAR scoring, Arterial line management, Assist with lumbar puncture, Attend High Risk Deliveries, Blood glucose monitoring, Breastfeeding Support, Bubble CPAP, Central line care, Developmental Care, ECMO, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Mechanical Ventilation, Neonatal Sepsis management, Nitric Oxide, Oscillators, Oxygen Delivery, Patient/family teaching, Phototherapy, Tracheostomy care, UAC, UVC, Ventilator management, and more
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for neonatal patients with complex medical needs, participating in interdisciplinary team support including respiratory, social, interpretation, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The unit maintains a daily census of 8 neonates across 12 beds, with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Onboarding: Labs to be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing; 7-year work history verification required; all compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date.
