Job Summary:
The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) is located in HERMISTON, Oregon. This role involves providing direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures. The position requires assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN must respond swiftly and accurately to changes in patient conditions and initiate computerized plans of care upon admission.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the State of Oregon; evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and area of practice; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing; Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN); previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience; CRASE training (if travel assignment exceeds 6 months, CRASE training is required).
• Additional Information: The RN will perform a variety of duties, including recognizing the rights and responsibilities of patient confidentiality, conveying empathy and compassion, and providing care suited to the patient's age, cultural, physical, and psychosocial needs. Employees may be floated to other qualified departments as needed. The candidate should participate in required education for DNV programs and perform other related duties as assigned.
